The Alignment

“The call is a voice that insists.”

The Storm’s Insight

There is a scene at the end of the first episode of The Chosen.

A woman sits in darkness.
Tormented by the life she’s been living.
A life of hiding. A life of numbing. A life slowly dissolving.

She lifts a cup to drink again.

A hand stops her.

“That’s not for you.”

Upset, she tells the man to leave her alone.

She storms out, cup still in hand.

He follows.

Then he calls her by name.

“Mary of Magdala.”

She freezes.

He couldn’t possibly know her name.

Then he speaks words she hasn’t heard in years — scripture her father recited to her as a child. Words known only to them. Words buried beneath shame, survival, and forgetting.

It was in that moment where something in her eyes locks into place.

Not comfort.
Not safety.
Recognition.

The call does not ask you to become someone new.

It asks you to stop being who you are not.

It asks you to drop the facade.
The performance.

The misalignments bound together by avoidance and applause.

Alignment is the painful removal of what is unreal so what is real can finally take its place.

It does not mean the ego disappears.
It means the ego accepts its proper role.

No longer negotiator.
No longer gatekeeper.
No longer interpreter.

Executor.

Alignment begins when the ego stops resisting the Self and starts serving it.

This is not gentle work.

Alignment dismantles relationships, habits, identities, and timelines that no longer belong to you.

It re-balances the scales to converge on your own real authority.

An authority you have always had — and quietly abandoned.

The Forge’s Reflection

When alignment happens, momentum becomes inevitable.

The Sovereign’s Task

Recall a moment when you knew that what you were doing was right.

Not easy.
Right.

What did that alignment demand of you?

And where are you still moving forward while internally divided?
