“Synchronicity takes the coincidence of events in space and time as meaning something more than mere chance.”
C. G. Jung

The Storm’s Insight
There’s a scene in The Matrix where Neo is climbing a staircase with the crew of the Nebuchadnezzar. He sees a black cat slip past a doorway, hears the meow, and watches the shake of its fur. He looks away for a moment, and then — the exact same cat, the exact same sequence.
“Deja vu,” he mutters.
Everyone freezes. Neo thinks it’s nothing. The rest of the team knows it’s everything.
It’s a glitch — evidence that the structure of reality has shifted beneath them.
We’ve all had those moments.
The same song trailing you from car to café.
Numbers repeating with impossible insistence.
A relational dynamic showing up in different people across different seasons of your life.
Patterns too precise to dismiss as mere coincidence.
But here’s the danger:
If you’re not fully awake, you treat it the way Neo did — a passing oddity, a shrug, a whisper of “weird,” and then back to sleep.
The psyche doesn’t shrug.
The psyche keeps ledgers.
The psyche remembers what you ignore.
It notices every symbol that returns.
It notices every time a pattern re-forms.
It notices when something in your life has shifted — way before you do.
And when the pattern repeats, you feel it as deja vu. Not a glitch…. a summons.
The soul doesn’t send symbols to soothe you.
It sends them to wake you.
Symbols are not sentimental; they’re instructional.
They show you where your life is asking to change —
if you have the courage to discern what they’re teaching.
The Forge’s Reflection
Symbols return until you finally see what refuses to stay hidden.
The Sovereign’s Task
Recall a moment of déjà vu.
Trace the pattern backward and forward — where has this symbol, feeling, or dynamic appeared before?
And what truth has it been asking you to face?
