“Let what you say be simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything more than this comes from evil.”
Matthew 5:37

The Storm’s Insight
No.
One word.
Two letters.
A complete statement.
It is often one of the hardest things a human can say to someone else.
Harder still is saying it to yourself—and meaning it.
Every time you agreed to something you swore you wouldn’t.
Every time you promised yourself you would speak up, and didn’t.
Every time you said you would stop giving your energy to those who drain you— and abandoned yourself the moment they summoned you.
The false self feeds on permission.
The Self emerges through refusal.
There comes a moment when something in you demands clarity.
Not explanation.
Not justification.
A boundary.
It asks you to finally say no to what no longer serves the life that is trying to emerge.
Sometimes the greatest gift you can give yourself is subtraction. And every subtraction begins with a no.
Destiny does not begin when you move.
It begins when you stop.
The Forge’s Reflection
Your first real step toward destiny is often a decisive no.
The Sovereign’s Task
Name a time you said yes when you wanted to say no.
Why did you say yes?
What did you fear would happen if you refused?
